Made from approximately 50,000-year-old New Zealand swamp kauri, with brass inlay flowing through the timber and sculptural brass leg and support elements. The natural timber finish celebrates the grain, markings, fissures and history of the ancient kauri. Individually handcrafted and finished.
The brass traces and responds to the natural character of the swamp kauri, inspired by the philosophy of kintsugi, honouring rather than concealing imperfection. The brass pattern continues from the tabletop over its edges and into the sculptural supporting elements, creating the distinctive FLOWKINTSUGI language.
Currently recorded as bespoke, with dimensions confirmed for each commission rather than one fixed production size. Standard reference size: 1600 L x 900 W x 400 H mm, with approximately 90-110 mm tabletop depth depending on the individual swamp kauri slab.
Made to order. Each piece is inherently unique due to the age, grain and natural characteristics of the swamp kauri.
